Tomos completed a degree in psychology at Cardiff University before working in a hospice helped him decide he wanted to become a doctor. He Completed the Graduate Entry to Medicine course at Nottingham University in 2008. He spent his first years as a doctor working in surgical training throughout South Wales, where he completed his Membership to the Royal College of Surgeons.
He decided to move to New Zealand with his partner a decade ago. Over the last 10 years he has been working as a GP and in Urgent Care throughout West Auckland.
He now has 3 children which keeps him pretty busy, but when he does have free time, he loves to garden and look after his lifestyle block.
