Alison has been a doctor on the North Shore and Rodney since 1992 and enjoys providing a wide range of medical care to patients of all ages. She is qualified in both General Practice and Urgent Care and is a Fellow of both professional Colleges.
She has always had a special interest in Women’s Health, has previously worked at Family Planning Clinic, spent many years delivering babies and has postgraduate qualifications in Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Family Planning. She is able to provide a full and comprehensive Women’s Health Service including Mirena IUCDs, Jadelle implants, Pipelle biopsies.
Alison has also undergone training in Sports Medicine based at the Millennium Institute of Sport and Health and has a Diploma in Sports Medicine. She has worked as medical advisor and assessor for ACC.
She is proficient at minor surgery and joins her colleagues at Silverdale medical in providing a full Skin Surgery service.
In her spare time, Alison enjoys travelling, keeping active with her family and playing violin/piano in various chamber groups and orchestras.
